Memorial Park Neighbors Union
Hillside continues to collaborate with the K-Land, Knob Hill, Middle Shooks Run, and Divine Redeemer neighborhoods to secure a Community Benefits Agreement with the developers of the former Union Printers Home. We changed our coalition's name to the Memorial Park Neighbors Union to highlight our connection to Memorial Park and honor the historic site built to support working-class people. We are currently canvassing door-to-door to share the potential impacts of a luxury development. In the coming weeks, join your neighbors for a canvass to learn more and get involved.
